Research

The members of the studio have been involved in research on the seismic behaviour of timber buildings even before the foundation of dedaLEGNO. The research has been carried out in collaboration with research institutions both Italian and foreign (Canada, United States and Japan). In particular, they have conducted tests on mechanical connections, testing of timber wall components and shake-table tests of full-scale CLT and Platform Frame buildings.

The studio now continues its commitment to research, with particular focus on the seismic behaviour of multi-storey CLT buildings, collaborating with North American research institutes, Italian university institutes and European companies.
